Should I be worried.?

Sorry, I should have said the cat’s name is Mollie. Sooty is our previous cat. What it is to grow old.

Can't she have the food she's happy with?
Just wondering.

Is it a problem with her teeth or gums? Have you offered soft food?

I’m sure Mollie will be ok over the weekend, but defo worth a visit to the Vet on Monday.
It maybe a tooth or jaw problem. Our old cat who had tooth issues, had his Eukanuba kibble changed to Royal Canin - a sort of paste - and never looked back.

* NotSpaghetti*,the only thing she is eating at the moment are Dreamies which are ‘treats’. I have upped the intake of these to compensate for the lack of proper food but it is not a long term solution. I hadn’t thought about a tooth problem so will try soft food, though she has never been keen on soft cat food. Definitely a trip to the vets on Monday. Another thing she has been doing is going outside to nibble on grass which, of course, she promptly sicks up. She is a nervous, rescue cat and usually doesn’t want to go outside so this is out of character too.

My cats often go off their usual foods, but I find they never refuse a tin of tuna or salmon! Only a short term fix, |I know, but would fill a gap!

I have tried our cats on fresh fish when they've been under the weather. Because we are all veggies, I have to sweet talk the fishmonger fillet it for me. I cook it and let it cool.

Update. After trying, tinned tuna (though she has never liked this), white fish, chicken all with no success we made an appointment with the vet. Cat immediately started fussing round m, so I thought I would try her original kibble again which she then promptly began to eat! Immediately cancelled the vet. How do they know?

Typical cat!! Glad to hear she's back to normal.
