I have found that I am becoming one of the last people standing from my past. My old friends are now ill so have moved away to live with their family, have gone into a nursing home or they have died.

Very sad.

A friend of mine goes to the local animal rescue centre just to pet the cats and dogs because she can’t look after one herself. Both benefit.

Here is our Dylan, a Bassett Fauve de Bretagne, we rescued from Spain when he was 14 months old. He’s now 7, and we love him dearly.♥️

These are gorgeous. Since my cat Tara died a couple of years ago I decided I was too old to care for another cat so I love seeing photos of cats and dogs. There are no animals living near me or they would be showered with love and cuddles.

This is our lovely rescue Millie. Very scared when she first came to us . Took about 18 months to become an affectionate lap cat!
