I would love to see some pics of our pets

I was just thinking of the same thing only yesterday! I would like to have a forum where we just share pictures of our beloved pets. I love seeing pictures of pets and I will share too.

Freja has extra long whiskers. How lucky she is to have found kind adoptive parents for she and her foster sibling.

This is my girl. My husband has many disabilities and was not able to get out of bed, except to walk to the bathroom. I rescued a dog that they were going to euthanize and he went from walking across the room, to walking to the next neighbors, to walking a half mile. All because of the gentle coaxing of a gentle lab. During Covid, we had to wait outside the hospitals but she got flooded with hugs from nurses who did not have enough hugs from humans. They said she was their therapy. Since then, she has been allowed to go in elevators, to Intensive Care emergency rooms and give reassurance there, too. Here is a picture of immigrant children getting much needed love from her. She only understands Spanish and I don't speak Spanish so the children love her a lot.

This is sweet, gentle Buzz who started life as a street dog in Sicily. I adopted him when he was 6 months old and he’s now 8 years old. He has never really overcome his nervousness of just about everything but I love him.

Here's my favourite pic of our two boys. Now sadly we only have one of them. They're rehomed Maine Coon boys whose breeding days were over. Gorgeous friendly cuddly creatures.

This is Chester our rescue cat. If he looks a bit scared that’s because he is . We have had him for 2 years and he is just as nervous as when he first arrived despite all our efforts. He stays indoors and will only venture outside for a few minutes when it is completely dark.

Our cats are not allowed on the bed.

This is our lovely rescue Millie. Very scared when she first came to us . Took about 18 months to become an affectionate lap cat!

These are gorgeous. Since my cat Tara died a couple of years ago I decided I was too old to care for another cat so I love seeing photos of cats and dogs. There are no animals living near me or they would be showered with love and cuddles.

Here is our Dylan, a Bassett Fauve de Bretagne, we rescued from Spain when he was 14 months old. He’s now 7, and we love him dearly.♥️

A friend of mine goes to the local animal rescue centre just to pet the cats and dogs because she can’t look after one herself. Both benefit.
