We have a double-sided Cat Mate feeder (bought when we had two cats). It will take wet food as well, having a freezer pack to keep it cool if necessary. We usually use it for dry food. It's easy to set the battery operated timer and doesn't make a noise.

We also have a round feeder that does 6 meals but only use it if we're away. It makes an irritating whirring noise as it open, which is fine if we're not around.
