This is 60 of my 68 over six and half decades of continued rescue.
60 in Rainbow Bridge. 8 still living very long lives.
Each and every
little fuzzie whisker, fur ball, feathers - four legs or two have
been loved beyond measure. Humans gave me all these -
some for years. Some months. Some days. Some hours.
But all through human ignorance & cruelty.
I don’t blame. I am upset by humans
continued ignorance of everything, that humans consider a
‘pet’! If you think you know a rabbit, think again! If you
think you know a guinea pig, think again, if you think
you know an ex-battery hen - then think again, a hamster …. the list is endless,
think again - IF you did, there would not be over 2 million suffering and
dying in the UK - because humans don’t care enough to
either learn or stop being greedy by breeding.
I’m sure you could relate a story of ‘a good outcome’! That
is not what this post is about - it’s about the NOT good but
hoping for a change - I’ve tried/trying for over 65 years -
still trying so just please research and go to any animal
charity for all and every fuzzie - Please.
Just think and if you must get a fuzzie to own you, go
to a charity not a pet breeding cash market. Rescue Centres
are full of fuzzies by ‘those people who knew best’. Just
try to understand these little wonderfuls.
If I could make just one person understand the value of
these wonderful creatures, to show you, their magnificence,
their real life, how they really live if you gave them a chance -
wow would you be rewarded 100 fold - please pass on - they
deserve more than you can ever imagine.
My ‘post today’ is also about the love I’ve been given by fuzzies,
who overcame human cruelty to love again, be safe, be them
and how truly humbled I am, they trusted and loved me.
I love them and so humble. No words.
