Can only offer sympathy because my daughter’s little dog ( also has a luxating patella but thankfully it’s only mild) only has to look at food and she puts weight on. She has 1/3 of a packet of Forthglade, a small amount of kibble and a tiny tooth chew. Her breed is prone to pancreatitis so she has nothing fatty. Might the food for older dogs be high in calories because older dogs could struggle with keeping weight on? Or the raw have a high fat content? I’m the opposite with my whippet as she’d lost weight when she was last at the vets so we’re feeding her up.
