I want to change the dogs' wet food. Input please.

I'm using Cesar wet food at the moment, which my choosy dog likes. He had a digestive upset recently and I was looking for healthy food for him. I saw Cesar recommended for similar reasons on Mumsnet, and glad I'm trying it so far.

I think Lilys kitchen was sold a while back and isn’t as good as it used to be ( but still as expensive). My daughter feeds her pancreatitis prone dog Forthglade and doesn’t use it all in one day. In fact the poor little dog only has 1/3 of a tray a day as she puts on weight so easily. We have to be so careful with her. I wish I could afford to feed my dog on it but she’d need quite a lot of it and it would work out too expensive. It always smells quite yummy!

Chappie Original is always said to be one of the best foods for dogs and I always keep some in case my dog gets a bad tummy ( which she is prone to) but it’s now quite expensive. It used to be one of the cheapest foods you could buy.

My dog has Forthglade, and you’re right about the plastic lid, although I wouldn’t change the meat for that reason because it’s very good quality, and he loves it. What I do now is to run a sharp kitchen knife round the edge of the inside of the tray to about an inch in at one end, and peel it back further as I use it.
