In my husband sock drawer or the arm of the sofa in the kitchen,on the window ledge above a radiator ,never in the same area as the other cat (they are sisters)
They toddle off together in the morning to hunt or climb trees and toddle home together for food during the day .Then they each chooses bed in a seperate room for their nap.
I,m coming back as a cat .

Should have said there are cat beds all over the house, rarely used.

That’s our Rosie’s favourite spot .We searched everywhere for her for hours and just by chance caught sight of her ears ….in the sock drawer.

My terrier and I sleep back to back on my double bed, she’d be happy enough to swap sides.

There is whole thread about this.

Our dog starts off at the end of the bed, then ventures to the lounge and normally ends up in the corner of the corner sofa. It’s quite comfortable.

At the bottom of the bed, horizontal, stretched out as far as my body allows. Then, if someone dares move their feet I'll have to grumble, use my little steps and go get a drink of water. Then, back on the steps and off to lie on the legs of my husband.

I refuse to try to squeeze myself into the cats' basket!

So I just move over in the bed when one or t'other lands beside me.

Admittedly, I often waken up with my knees practically in my mouth and one cat stretched across the bed, and the other using my foot as a pillow.
