We lost our little poodle yesterday. He had a stroke on Wednesday and lost the use of his back legs.

We contacted a vet, an 'angel' who specialises in euthanasia and she came yesterday so we could let him go without pain and fear.

He came into our lives when we were in a dark and frightening place having been estranged by our youngest son. He brought love, peace and joy into back our lives and was there for us during our darkest hours.

He was white and I called him my little angel without wings.
Now he's gone and has become my little angel with wings.

I am so very sorry for your loss. As a fellow dog lover I know exactly how you are feeling, we lost our last dog two months ago and are still grieving. They give us so much love, and are always there for us. Rest in peace little Pipin.

My heart goes out to you for the loss of Pipin. I also had my darling Bichon Pudding put to sleep at home. It's the kindest way to end their suffering.

Smileless2012 - keep your memories alive of your time with Pipin, they are precious.
As a sideways move. What it is with estranged children/family - I truly don’t understand. I am estranged from my eldest of two sons.
My trade name ‘Granless’ is not appropriate any more. I now have a granddaughter -a lovely gift from my youngest son who lives the other side of the world.
Love to you and Pipin.

I understand just how you are feeling. We lost our little black and white cat Lewis 6 weeks ago, he also had a stroke, we had him from 8 weeks old, he was 12. He was with us everyday as we retired at that time and the loss we felt was devastating , I can say time is slowly helping us come to terms with it, which I'm sure you will also do eventually.

Pippin gave you and Mr S what you both needed Smiles at a horrible time in your life. He gave and gave . Dogs are very intelligent and he would know when you both needed extra attention or to make you both laugh. He will be forever in your minds and hearts . He was and will always be family . ❤️

So sad when they leave us, I dread the day. We're on our 5th dog, a rescue weimaraner aged 4, he is adorable.
Rescue a dog in need, in memory of Pippin, there are plenty out there that need a loving home.
