We've been asked by Boots UK to find 100 gransnetters to try out their new No7 Restore & Renew Day & Night Serum.

Here’s what Boots UK have to say, “No7 is the UK’s leading skincare brand who’s ambition is to allow women to tell their story through their own voice. NEW No7 Restore & Renew Day & Night Serum is specially formulated for more mature skin and actively targets the five key signs of ageing: wrinkles, lack of firmness, uneven pigmentation, fragility and dull skin. In clinical trials, after four weeks of use, both light reflecting characteristics and levels of natural moisture return to similar levels of younger skin. We’ve had great feedback so far, but we’d love to hear what gransnetters think about the product as well!”

This product test is open to all UK gransnetters. If you are selected to take part, you’ll be sent 2x15ml No7 Restore & Renew Day & Night Serum to try. You would need to use the product each day and night for at least 4 but preferably 8 weeks and then add your feedback to the feedback thread on Gransnet (we'll send you a link to this nearer the time).

Everyone who takes part and adds their comments will be entered into a prize draw to win a No7 skincare bundle worth over £100.

Boots may use any comments posted on this thread in marketing, editorial and/or promotional material so please only post if you are happy with that.

If you’re allergic to any ingredients found in cosmetics please check the ingredients of the serums.

If you’re interested in taking part please fill out the sign up form here.

Thanks and good luck,

GNHQ

I have a theory that all skin products are made in one giant vat somewhere and then glooped out into buckets where different perfumes are added! This is all that makes them different, but I am willing to give this test a go because No 7 products are always competitively priced. Also, the lines could do with some help. (grin)

Well it's 3 for 2 and double discount for employees at the moment so I'm stocking up so I have enough to last me another year.

I've just got back from a few days in Italy to find my samples waiting for me.
I'm going to be scientific about this and MrA is just about to take a close up photo of me, and will take another one in a month's time, or when the tubes run out, whichever is sooner. I'll post the results on the pictures thread!
Grannyknot!!
I'm glad you're back!

JA! Me too! And thank you smile

It's a bit gloopy and difficult to use sparingly, unlike my lovely Clarins super serum. However, it is half the price so will persevere....

I may try the close up photo idea but which wrinkle do I photograph, such choice confused

Flowerofthewest I've taken several pics: Close up of mouth area; another under eye; between my eyes; my more wrinkly cheek with a slight smile so it shows the lines thlhmm

Re the 'tiny' samples. I was in Boots today and took their display tubes of the No.7 Serum to the counter and asked if these were the size of the ones for sale. They are, I asked if they would last for 4 weeks for the trial, Yes, also the price for the two tubes which are sold as a pair in boots is £24.99 so hopefully they should work [hopeful emoticon]

The new Restore and Renew did not suit my skin- made it tingle like crazy had to throw out. I used to use Protect and perfect but all too expensive now.

Do you still need testers for this???

Have used No 7 for 4 weeks and can say that I found both day and night serums cool to the skin and easy to apply.
I noticed a difference in my skin - softer and a little less fragile. The perfume of the product was acceptable.
I would purchase this product again (or even ask for it for Christmas!)

When do we get the results?
