We got up and had all our presents at home, then went to my parents house for the big Christmas dinner. Played games in the afternoon, watched TV, had tea and went to bed!

This year we decided against presents of substance, which was a relief for most of us. Taking the pressure off seemed to have created a calmer advent.

Completed the survey but it's not all relevant to me as I don't have to host Christmas as my adult children have more space than I have for a family gathering.

I organise the food, presents and events. My husband is not really interested so if I don't do it he wouldn't be bothered. As I felt under the weather with a cold this year but still managed to pull it all off.
