Do not go looking for who said what to who and upset them on this thread. It is time to stop blaming and unless this happens this thread will go down the same way. This is supposed to be supportive.

5boys3girls, of course it is okay for you to just pop in and talk about "other things", as it is for any other poster to do. It isn't 100% to talk about estrangement issues here, never has been.

I'm sure you'll understand though when we kindly request of all posters, as a group really, that there is only one topic kind of not okay on this thread and that is anything relating to other active threads of the same topic or the rehashing of yesterday's news that has left several people feeling quite hurt and needing space to just lick their wounds and feel better.

Today is a new dawn let's say, starting afresh and with the help of GNHQ monitoring any posts that might cause discord being sent to them for consideration by myself and other users too, I really am confident that we can make this work and it can be a safe place to be once again.

Welcome and looking forward to perhaps hearing from you again sometime soon 5boys3girls.

I think maybe, for a few days, until we get going again on here, it might be that some posters are a little scared and suspicious.
If you have been around, like I have, just watching this thread but not contributing, you might be able to understand why some posters need to build confidence up again, I hope you do and that you might come dip your toes in again sometime soon.
As I said, GNHQ will be monitoring the situation so I do believe we are going to be quite safe here, trust me on that one, I will try my very best but hope others might help me too.
Especially with the sending of those flowers because I still haven't learned how to do that yet, wine too, we might need a glass of that sometimes.

It is a beautiful day here the ? is shining even if it's bitterly cold. Had a super walk with the dog. Makes one feel spring is found the corner. Hope Yogagirl is okay and finds the new place.

I just wanted to apologise to those lovely people who asked me questions and/ or offered support or words of wisdom. I did intend to answer everyone but was waiting for the dust to settle. Snowaway2 yes, this is a public forum, to be on the safe side it is always adviseable not to use real names, real places, that type of thing, you know what I mean just using caution as we would anywhere on a world wide web. Looking forward to your posts when you feel ready, sometimes it can take a long time to pluck up the courage.

Hello to you all - and breathe!

This new thread already feels different - lighter, more hopeful - so here I am.

As I've already said in a previous post, I read the other thread religiously, so feel I "know" some of you. Also it's good that there are a few other new posters too.

Right now, I'm content to just take part occasionally, and possibly learn things to help my situation, rather than discuss it. The reason being that it is not particularly straightforward, and I'm struggling to understand it myself. I hope this doesn't stop me from being part of the thread.

No of course not IrishRose all are welcome here. We have 2 newbies on here already; new not just to an estrangement thread but new to GN. So things are looking and feeling great.

I hope this go is not ruined in such a manner as the last thread. Perhaps if one finds themselves in a disruptive mood they might seek real professional counselling rather than stirring upset to everyone else? Just a thought.
