With Valentine's Day on the horizon and chatting about this page (and a young friend saying she was somewhat taken aback by getting hand cream 'for worn hands' from her significant other) we thought it was the perfect time to carry on the conversation about least romantic gifts. So what's yours (given or received)? Trying to think of mine...I suppose in some people's eyes it would be a colander - but it was a Nigella one I had wanted for ages so I was delighted nonetheless

I have mentioned both of these before, but one Christmas I was presented with a gift that seemed to be the right size and shape to be the tablet I had been dropping hints about, but no, it was a digital air compressor for inflating tyres
I think it was prompted by the fact that I had had a flat tyre a few weeks previously.
The other was also a Christmas gift. The large, and intriguing parcel, albeit beautifully wrapped was somewhat disappointing. It contained a new toilet seat.
I would love an air pump! Was only hinting about these last weekend!
