You aren’t his Mother so I can understand this, he dropped his wife there to give you presents, you are her Mother.
It wouldn’t bother me at all.

Why not walk over to the car, tap on the window and speak to him? Alternatively, invite them in for a cuppa and catchup or even for lunch/tea. He might think, as you’ve probably not done any of these things before that you’re not that invested on having a relationship with him. He might also have been messaging his own mum…….on Mothers Day.

Im working from home on a 10 hour shift today hence the door drop. He has been for plenty of meals at my home before and i look after granddaughter regularly quite an asumption saying ive not done any of thos things before in 12 years

This sounds incredibly disrespectful. Is he always like this? Maybe he and your daughter had had a row.

He has done this practically every time they have called to the door for something yes and Im always upset but get over it but ive honestly had enough of it

How would people feel if a Son in law, been in my life 12 years dropped off gifts with my Daughter, whilst they were on the way back from somewhere and never even looked up from his phone when he was outside my front door sat in the car just yards away. So basically Im at the door talking to Daughter and granddaughter and he is head down, scrolling his phone and dosnt look up let alone acknowledged me. Extremely hurtful when i try to do what I can for them and its put a downer on my day.
