Just watched it Galen. Very interesting.

It seems the post-resurrection sightings of Jesus were not included in the first and second oldest manuscripts, but were there in the third.

Like the man said, if you need an indisputable record of those happenings, you are not going to get it. If you can accept the bible as being the means to put you in touch with the Christian religion and its doctrines, then the bible will do you nicely.

So. Up to individuals.

Did anyone else watch the bbc2 programme The Bible Hunters last night?.
It seemed to point out that the post resurrection appearances of Jesus were later additions to Mark's gospel.
As mark is the earliest of the gospels and all the others were written later, this poses an interesting question.
