I recorded this and viewed it yesterday, two programmes so far, and it is fascinating. Isn't Mr Freeman a lovely chap. Such a gentle, yet commanding presenter/interviewer. I love his voice.

That's interesting, Lapwing. Always good to get a different viewpoint, isn't it. It's interesting how often these belief systems overlap...

Yes it did Mollie. The programme looked at different belief systems views of the afterlife and although I knew a bit about how the Hindu belief system viewed the afterlife the speakers explained it in more depth. I am really looking forward to future programmes.

I watched the first episode of this on the National Geographical channel on Sunday evening. A fascinating programme. Morgan Freeman is amazing as the narrator. The programme does not just cover Christianity but many of the other major faiths.
