Robi My heart goes out to you. Your husband was a generous man who gave his life for the greater good. Now you are alone. Without the comfort of your children and feeling such emotional pain because they could not be present at the funeral, and you are deprived of time in retirement with the man you love. The pandemic is making grieving so much more complicated. I feel so sad for you and for your family. Sending you and kindest thoughts.

Thinking of you all who have lost a loved one . I do believe there's life after death and they will always be beside you, looking after you.. The 'soul' is what makes us different from animals.

I hope Anne's soul goes peacefully to her place 'up there'.
I'm not a catholic but believe that we all have the same resting place after after our troubles are over down here.
She did her best, as we all do. I'll pray for her.

My sister Anne died in the early hours in a hospice. She had a difficult life and I would appreciate prayers as she was a devout Catholic

I hope that next year you will perhaps be able to hold a memorial either in church or at home with those who would have liked to attend your husband's funeral.

My husband's funeral took place yesterday. Three in attendance, my adult children and myself. Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. He is now safely in the arms of Jesus, such is the power of prayer. Early days I know but I am trying to think positive.
