£1.65 first class and 85p second class isn't it? I quite like the designs - even if one of them isn't of Norwich Cathedral. But who's heard of Norwich, and why have one from the east of Britain?!

But they are quite attractive, I thought.
I like the designs, but agree the choice of cathedrals is odd.
Isn't it just 85 pence to post a card in UK?

A tiny bit puzzled as to why Bangor and not St David’s - he is the Patron Saint after all.

Good point.
Who knows why?

In Wales, Scotland and N. Ireland, people could also look at the English cathedrals on the stamps and say "I don't live there".

Why shouldn't the other countries in the UK - the UNITED KINGDOM - also be represented on the Christmas stamps they all will buy?

What is sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander.

Oh that's a shame! What a lovely subject for christmas stamps, our cathedrals are a wonderful legacy from past generations. Everyone has their favourites, but Salisbury, Gloucester, Durham, York, Ely shouldn't have been passed over I agree with Escaped.

Not to mention the cost!!!! £2.80 to send to anywhere since beginning of October. So from our perspective, the PO have shot themselves in the foot as we shall no longer be sending cards overseas at that outrageous price per stamp.

Not happy. angry
In a kingdom of great cathedrals, I'm not very impressed with the choice of Christmas stamps depicting various cathedrals.
Edinburgh - I'm not Scottish, I don't live there
Armagh - I'm not Irish, I don't live there either
Bangor - I'm not Welsh, I don't live there
Westminster - I'm a Londoner, but NOT Roman Catholic
Liverpool - I guess it will have to be that.

Where's Salisbury, Durham, Gloucester, Exeter, Canterbury, York?
