I’ve just read your message and have said a prayer for you both. I believe prayers make a difference.

Thank you all so much. I'm not able to visit just yet, but I'm talking to her constantly. 'Come on love, I'm waiting for you.' 'We'll pop into Knutsford to that cafe we like'. 'You do know I love you right?' 'I've got 3 buds on the tree peony'. 'We could try to find that lovely garden centre we went to once.' and so it goes.

They brought the operation forward and she's back in the ICU. She's critically ill, and the family are there. Her daughter says she needs all the help she can get, so kind thoughts and prayers would be most welcome. I know the staff will be working very hard for her and I'm grateful for their skills and devotion to the task ahead of them.

She will be well looked after in that ICU unit, the specialist nurses will be building up her strength for her op. Try not to worry. Hope everything goes well for her. Sending love & prayers to you all 🫂

I'm so moved by the kindness from you all. Perhaps it's the norm if your DH was in the ICU for 5 days before his op too CanadianGran. They have told us that my sister is being prepared for the surgery. I just hope she's not afraid. When this is all over I will tell her about the kindness of so many 'strangers' who prayed for her to get through this. xx
