As its that time of year has anyone got any ghostly experiences? Its a subject that has interested me since I played a ouija board as a teenager which gave some scary answers.

I wouldn't call it ghostly as such, but I have experienced communication with a friend of mine who passed away.

I am actively working on my ability to perceive and communicate with spirits, so this wasn't something that was unbidden - I was meditating upon him and reaching out to him.

I saw and heard my father just after he suddenly died when I was much younger. He appeared at the top of the stairs wearing the clothes he had on that day and said ‘it’s ok’ then disappeared.
I have convinced myself it was a dream because am sceptical and also it never happened again.

I’ve seen two ghosts.
One was my boyfriend at the times late father.
The other ghost was a cat that belonged to my friend.
She was very happy because she was very spiritual.

Having met an exorcist I was alerted to the danger of playing with oudja boards .
I wish that I'd listened to him -my friends and I thought it amusing to play with one on a summer evening .
Never again .
Since then I've seen various spirits -some absolutely terrifying and some not frightening at all .
Some were family members and reassuring.
As I grow older I take my faith more seriously and it is against both Catholic and Protestant faith to indulge in the occult.

On one occasion it was a very cold evening I. Had had a bath on got into bed. Husband came into bedroom and rushed out and went down stairs Son was watching the football
When he came back to see me he was really jittery apparently he had seen someone walking along the corridor towards son’s room in what looked similar to my dressing gown.
Although our house was built 1969 it was on the site of an older house, which was on the site of an even older Croft
I spoke to someone who was the sister of the person we bought our house from and she said she had heard strange sounds and so did we
I could go on 👻

A dog we had from a 6 week pup, became hugely attached to our older rescue dog. After years together, the older dog got to the end of the road and I phoned the vet to come and PTS at home. Before vet arrived, younger dog was taken out of the way for a long walk. When DS and dog arrived home, the the old dog was already buried on our land, several hundred yards from the house. Younger dog ran straight to the grave and lay down on it crying. He clearly knew she was dead.

Two years later, dog and I were alone in the house when he started weirdly howling and barking ; feet up at the window sill staring out, all his hair on end, wildly excited. I came to see who was arriving ; nobody. Three yards from the window in her lifelong "guarding my family" spot, stood the dead dog looking at us. In broad daylight. There was absolutely no doubt that younger dog saw her too.

As howling dog and I watched she turned and slowly walked away, and disappeared (front end first followed by back end) as if passing through an invisible screen. I opened the door and dog raced out frantically searching for her.

Yes we shared our home with a naughty ghost.

There are so many stories, we think she was about 16 she was mischievous but did freak out guests once.
