dusty it was from my friend's garden and it smelled wonderful!

Should that have been 'smelt'? hmm

dustyangel Sat 18-Apr-15 18:52:23

That was why I changed mine to scent. I got muddled between smelt and smelled. grin

harrigran Sat 18-Apr-15 19:29:42

Still upside-down on my laptop! grin
(But I have a flexible neck)

shock They are upsidedown again. This is scary. Two of them had definitely gone the right way up before Casualty.

I'm out of here.

Yes, still upside down and mine and Caz's are still invisible. Gosh jings that's the nearest I have ever seen to the Hanging Gardens of Babylon - beautiful! I daren't turn the PC upside down, DBH is here and would crown me!

cazthebookworm Sat 18-Apr-15 23:33:42

Oh dear, I was so pleased I thought I had succeeded, will have to try again.

cazthebookworm Sat 18-Apr-15 23:38:54

Well, it's there at the moment, hope it stays, Jing your garden is lovely, if I can achieve something half as good, I will be happy.

Stansgran Sun 19-Apr-15 17:54:28

The one that was the right way round looked lovely.

dustyangel Sun 19-Apr-15 18:03:59

I like yours caz. It looks as if you've put a lot of hard work into it and you can see how lovely it will be.
I still can't post photos. It looks as I might be able to on a lap top but not having Ctri-Enter on the iPad, I'll have to wait until DD arrives.
It's only to identify a weed wildflower. Don't hold your breath. grin

cazthebookworm Thu 23-Apr-15 20:41:23

Thank you dusty, yes, hard work but very rewarding.
I have bedded in some more plants this week, and assembled an obelisk and planted 2 scented clematis around it, Mrs Corning and Guernsey Cream. The billbergia are showing flowering stems emerging from the clumps.

I am waiting for 36 plug plants to arrive but with rain forecast, I doubt I will do doing much in the garden next week, shame.

I have tried endlessly to attach some more photos but I am finding it impossible. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP confused

janerowena Thu 23-Apr-15 21:45:14

I'll see if I can put my bird-feeder back on.

janerowena Thu 23-Apr-15 21:45:42

Well, that worked!

janerowena Thu 23-Apr-15 21:54:44

I'm going to turn jings's garden up the right way, I just tried to have another look and cricked my neck.

janerowena Thu 23-Apr-15 21:56:10

Oh! It's a bank! It's very pretty, jings.

cazthebookworm Fri 24-Apr-15 07:58:51

Try again?

janerowena Fri 24-Apr-15 12:38:27

Oh yes! It will be lovely when the plants have all spread out a bit. We have toads in our big pond, it gets a bit noisy. You never know what could end up in yours - we have grass snakes in ours sometimes.

janerowena Thu 03-Sep-15 18:07:10

My first ever decent grape harvest, I was so excited!. I have always wanted to grow grapes, and last year the birds got them all before they ripened.

Lona Thu 03-Sep-15 18:53:58

Well done jane they look good!

janeainsworth Thu 03-Sep-15 19:15:48

Wow! Impressed!

janerowena Thu 03-Sep-15 20:05:12

We've just picked four bunches, and are eating our way through sprigs of them. DS stole a whole bunch and took it into his den. I think I have swapped bird pests for DS pest.
