There were two dogs in a Russian experiment; again it was a long time ago that still makes my flesh crawl thinking about it. I'm sort of trying not to think about it all but at the same time can't get it out of my head [no pun intended]. There's also that classic horror story of the man that has the elixir of life but when his servant puts it on his head after his death he is so shocked by what happens that he drops the liquid and can't bring back to life the rest of his body.

On the same subject, does anyone remember seeing that horrible film footage of the result of the monkey head transplant?
