Butterflies

In the last year or so I've hardly seen a butterfly in my garden but suddenly this week there have been lots. Is this a recovery starting of the beautiful creatures? Anyone else noticed?

I have a buddlea that has self seeded and it's been covered in beautiful butterflies so it's definitely staying. The very pretty deep purple one I bought from a garden centre is not doing so well. I have replanted it from a pot into the garden, fingers crossed it survives.
