I don't think Cari is a tech. She's no better at it than we are. Neither is Josi.

And as for Geraldine!!! hmm

Anagram Sat 26-May-12 15:01:55

Are you the mysterious Tech then, Cari? hmm

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Sat 26-May-12 13:30:16

Hello all - ipads and iphones were all part of the same issue and should now be fine ( frantically checks ...yes, back to lovely pinky purply GN again)

And field, jingl j04 is quite right. No GC but I do have a lovely wee girl (4 - not 5 yet tho I feel I will blink and she will be) (but I'm plenty old enough to be a gran - tho that's another tale altogether grin)

I do quite like technology though. I also like cookies brushes crumbs off keyboard

fieldwake Sat 26-May-12 12:41:14

blush Sorry carigransnet I assummed it was all grannies on here! except a few male ones. Ah j04 I have a lot to learn. Glad it is not just me has trouble with computer changes that even the young ones can be put out

whenim64 Sat 26-May-12 12:17:11

I've just logged on on my laptop and everything is fine on here, but on the iPad it's still in a mess.

jeni Sat 26-May-12 11:25:05

It seems only some of them are working!

Ariadne Sat 26-May-12 11:21:23

But I accepted the cookies, even though they didn't offer chocolate chip ones!

Ella46 Sat 26-May-12 11:20:59

when that's the sort of thing that happens to me! I suppose it must be so strange to see nana's face on the computer.
Bless her smile

Ariadne Sat 26-May-12 11:20:41

Try again...[grin]

Ariadne Sat 26-May-12 11:19:07

Well, just thought I'd try! Only just caught up with all this. Oh dear!

Ariadne Sat 26-May-12 11:18:31

[grin]

whenim64 Sat 26-May-12 11:15:31

This is normal for me. Everything I try goes pear-shaped. Learning to Skype this morning and managed to make my granddaughter cry when she was shown my face on the video call! SIL laughing like a drain [grin]

Annobel Sat 26-May-12 11:10:15

Oh well at least we can smile about it!

Ella46 Sat 26-May-12 11:03:27

Don't cast aspersions JO4!! I've already coughed to it being my fault.[you're just jealous emoticon] [grin]

Jacey Sat 26-May-12 10:57:24

Now there's a funny thing ..JJ why did you get the smile to work but my [grin] didn't??

Jacey Sat 26-May-12 10:51:44

Now that's true jj ...but you're such an expert at it! [tongue in cheek] emoticn [grin]

j04 Sat 26-May-12 10:37:56

It's obviously Ella's fault.

I don't cock the whole site up when I do it. [sniff]

j04 Sat 26-May-12 10:36:52

Fieldwake!!!!! [shock] You can't say that! [grin]

(Cari has got a little five year old girl. is not a granny smile)

jeni Sat 26-May-12 10:34:06

What on earth?
I'm supposed to be emptying the dishwasher, just quickly turned on iPad to see what you lot are up to and:-

Chaos!

Has nellie let THAT DOG DONALD loose again? Itsbound to be his fault?

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Sat 26-May-12 10:33:37

We have towels and sunbeds and we are getting them in place...We have also employed a security guard (we trust no one : ))

Yes - the cookies law change seems to have brought with it a glitch or two but tech are onto it. Do let us know if there are any other problems.

gracesmum Sat 26-May-12 10:32:22

All emoticons out sunbathing and not at their desks perhaps? :-) = [grin]

Elegran Sat 26-May-12 10:29:26

She did say they would be back once they had bagged their pitch. Maybe they think the coats will stay in place for the week. Trusting wee things, aren't they?

fieldwake Sat 26-May-12 10:07:32

Oh dear is Cari a grannie? perhaps too old to deal with all this stuff!
