Has anyone else had problems posting a photo using your iPads? I'm usually ok with uploading from galleries but can't do it on Gransnet. hmm.

Thank you - never normally scroll that far down!!hmm

bez there is an active button at the bottom of the page underneath the emotions section, this saves you scrolling back up to the top of the page.smile

I use the active button to go to each section or sometimes the last hour one but it would be great is these buttons showed at the bottom of the posts too so you don't have to scroll back to the top. I have not found any big problems using the iPad and this screen is so clear.

I haven't found any problems on my iPad

I have to scroll down to find my bookmark, although it does go to the correct page. On my laptop I am taken to the exact position. I have an hp touch pad, which I suspect is inferior to the ipad. Not a great problem but just an observation.

Same here?

I go to 'last hour' Ariadne so perhaps that explains it x

when don't quite understand? I just go back to "Active" but as I tend not to GN on the laptop am not aware I could do it differently? (That's the voice raised at end of sentence cf pedants' corner!)

Otherwise, no problems with the iPad. Long lines have disappeared too.

I will have a look on my tablet but don't hold your breath I have only registered my details on it since I got it I find it too small I use my lap top all the time, can't complain about it as DH bought it as a surprise and I didn't have the courage to tell him I did not want one.hmm

On ipad you do have to keep going back to the forum headings as you can't toggle between threads like you can on a laptop or PC. An app would be good!

The recent kerfuffle over the longer lines disappearing off people's screens got us wondering about whether accessing Gransnet on an iPad or other tablet raises other issues that we're not aware of. (At GNHQ we mainly work on laptops.)

As part of our mission to make Gransnet as good as possible, it would be useful to find out if there's anything that annoys you about Gransnet on tablets - or indeed that you like.
