Ariadne ...you're a rascal. wink

Ariadne Wed 10-Apr-13 10:51:41

Frank as Father Christmas is surely a paradox?

BonicaCook Wed 10-Apr-13 10:22:56

soop Mon 08-Apr-13 13:07:23

soop Mon 08-Apr-13 12:58:09

Elegran Don't even go there... blush
Ana and Nellie Our Frank would need to keep his socks on. GN must maintain a sense of decorum. wink

Ana Mon 08-Apr-13 12:54:54

Yes...the word 'kilt' springs to mind! wink

Elegran Mon 08-Apr-13 12:53:33

I am sure you could supply a better photo than that, Soop

Ana Mon 08-Apr-13 12:39:44

Not sure how many new members such a photo would attract, soop...confused grin

Nelliemoser Mon 08-Apr-13 12:29:27

soop Really I am surprised at you! You will corrupt him! How could you suggest such a thing! wink

soop Mon 08-Apr-13 11:35:37

We could ask Frank to have his photo taken whilst pole-dancing...wearing a string vest and Y-fronts. grin

Oldgreymare Mon 08-Apr-13 10:31:13

Lovely! 'Cupboard Ministers' creates wonderful images....... naughty goings on with a secretary in the stationery cupboard perhaps..... or a warning, 'Don't go near him/her, he's/she's a cupboard minister!'
N.B. gender equality smile

Elegran Mon 08-Apr-13 10:25:05

I just Googled Gransnet Local launch.

annodomini Mon 08-Apr-13 10:03:58

Incredible, Elegran! What did you have to do to find that one?

Elegran Mon 08-Apr-13 10:03:20

English as she is spoke.

Ana Mon 08-Apr-13 09:31:55

Wonderful, Elegran! grin

Elegran Mon 08-Apr-13 09:21:24

Every piece I have read so far has the same photo at the top. They have all copied the Telegraph article instead of doing the work themselves. Like this one though. Think it has been translated twice

Gally Mon 08-Apr-13 08:08:58

Ha ha. Don't think she could Zimmer that far and she's had to give up the driving not to mention that she doesn't own a pc and has only just got to grips with her mobile phone - oh and she's a single lady so not a Granny. Apart from that she does look very like the first 'Granny' grin

NannaAnna Mon 08-Apr-13 00:23:51

Gally If your Aunty Marjorie lives near Brighton can you get her to join the Brighton & Hove site please grin
Or the Worthing one if she's closer.
Or both!
Thank you smile flowers

Elegran Sun 07-Apr-13 21:45:34

I don't think it worked. She did not rise to the bait.

Ana Sun 07-Apr-13 21:22:36

Oh - sorry! grin
(Note to self: MYOB)

Elegran Sun 07-Apr-13 21:20:18

So did I Ana, just trying to get Marelli worried!

Ana Sun 07-Apr-13 21:18:16

Agreed - he's a natural!

j08 Sun 07-Apr-13 21:02:01

No one could be more natural than Frank!

Ana Sun 07-Apr-13 20:29:20

Elegran I'm sure Marelli was only acknowledging your explanation of how the photo was chosen - that's how I read it, anyway! smile

Bags Sun 07-Apr-13 20:19:28

But then, perhaps we all are! wink
