During which they are only allowed to post on threads, not start them.

The threads on which they would be allowed to post would be restricted to observations about the weather, product recommendations (positive comments only) knitting and other crafts and how nice puppies and kittens are.

Shysal I am over qualified in the ' grumpy. ' department. I have been married to a 'grumpy ' for 40 years and brought up 3 teenagers so it takes a lot to frighten me. wink

B****r that Frank This non graduate dyslexic, then just a Gran to be, jumped into Gransnet with both large feet when DD told me she was pregnant.

I do not own any twinsets or pearls. Will my previously unannounced arrival mean I have to go back and serve an apprenticeship while my credentials are checked.

Could there be an amnesty for us? wink grin

No one's checked my credentials in years and I don't care! wink

Ariadne Sat 27-Jul-13 11:15:14

Frank makes spelling mistakes..

Ana Sat 27-Jul-13 11:27:00

I don't think people should be stopped from coming on this site as long as they are a grandparent.
There is however 1 very strange person on this site.

Frank

Ana Sun 28-Jul-13 12:16:02

Only one, Frank? grin

BTW Gransnet is not limited to grandparents.

Nonu Sun 28-Jul-13 13:31:05

AND who would that be Frank ??? LOL

HUNTERF Sun 28-Jul-13 15:56:56

G***Y B*****Y.

Aka Sun 28-Jul-13 16:03:31

But Frank there are lots of 'odd' people of GN, that's part of its problem diversity charm, not everyone can be as polite and reasonable as you and I hmm

Ana Sun 28-Jul-13 16:18:21

My point exactly, Aka! wink

Aka Sun 28-Jul-13 16:21:57

Or indeed Ana

Aka Sun 28-Jul-13 16:23:24

Although I have it on good authority that I am 'rude and unreasonable' shock

feetlebaum Sun 28-Jul-13 16:26:30

Well, I'm not a grandparent - hell, I'm not even a parent, to the best of my knowledge, although I can lay claim to a step-daughter.

My twin set has shrunk in the wash, and the pearls dissolved when dropped into the gin in the bathtub - they're only made of oyster-spit anyway.

Can I stay?

Nonu Sun 28-Jul-13 16:27:43

Oh Frank , Gerry is going to be heart broken if he learns you cannot even bring yourself to say his name.

He does so look up to you for all the advice you dish out . In fact I might even go so far as to say , you are his hero !!!

AKA ---- Piffle !!smile

Aka Sun 28-Jul-13 16:29:53

You say the sweetest things Nonu

Feetle let that be a lesson to you not to wear pearls when bathing in gin.

Galen Sun 28-Jul-13 17:06:34

It's diamonds you clean in bin, not pearls! Now if you'd put your tiara in the gin bath it would be lovely and sparkling now!

Galen Sun 28-Jul-13 17:08:01

Gin NOT bin!

Aka Sun 28-Jul-13 17:22:38

Or indeed all your family jewels Feetle - barring pearls of course, these are to be scattered before swine I believe.

Galen Sun 28-Jul-13 17:28:05

grin

Nonu Sun 28-Jul-13 17:37:36

L A L

Nonu Sun 28-Jul-13 17:38:35

Feetle keeps a tight hold on his family jewels !!!
