it would be better if you just had to type "cake" rather than "cupcake".

smile (I know! You're busy! Someone's on hol)

Please, please, NOT moving emoticons!
If they are on a page I get so distracted I can't read what else is there.....

You're not getting away with a no, you know! wink

thatbags Tue 17-Sept-13 19:41:08

Can we have a frog instead then?

Yes - the biscuit! They gave us one once by mistake, obviously thought we wouldn't get it and took it away again! Why? We aren't all little old ladies crocheting cornflakes, or whatever...

Ah we took it away because it was a Mumsnet thang. We didn't want to jump on their bandwagon. Anyway, we much prefer cupcake

Ana Tue 17-Sept-13 19:37:01

I want a roll-eyes one! wink

If we could use the ones on our iPhones and iPads.... [hopeful look]

Ana Tue 17-Sept-13 19:34:31

Nooooo! hmm (Thank you)

thatbags Tue 17-Sept-13 19:34:05

MN has a biscuit, which more or less means 'oh ffs'. Why haven't we got one too?

KatGransnet (GNHQ) Tue 17-Sept-13 19:33:48

<browses through emoticon app on iPhone to see what other random ones we could have> Salsa dancing? An aeroplane? A puppy?

Aka Tue 17-Sept-13 19:29:34

Or a 'piffle' one?

j08 Tue 17-Sept-13 19:10:18

Face it. We need a "piss off" one.

Only answer worth giving sometimes. hmm

Lona Tue 17-Sept-13 18:50:51

I know, [naughty emoticon], but wtf?!! grin

Ana Tue 17-Sept-13 18:37:30

Lona, I think a two fingers emoticon might be interpreted as something other than wtf! grin

thatbags Tue 17-Sept-13 18:12:01

I've asked for a devil one. I even sent HQ a picture so they know what I mean. [innocent]

Lona Tue 17-Sept-13 17:58:56

Not to mention...two fingers for a 'wtf'! grin

glammanana Tue 17-Sept-13 17:52:26

Galen grin

Galen Tue 17-Sept-13 17:48:54

And a "I give up" emoticon?

suzz Tue 17-Sept-13 17:18:31

grin grin

kittylester Tue 17-Sept-13 16:51:00

While we are making requests - please may we have a white wine - red gives me a headache! grin

KatGransnet (GNHQ) Tue 17-Sept-13 16:36:59

Bun? hmm

grin

thatbags Tue 17-Sept-13 10:03:54

I don't even call those things cakes. They are buns.

As in:

The common cormorant (or shag)
Lays eggs inside a paper bag,
You follow the idea, no doubt?
It's to keep the lightning out.

But what these unobservant birds
Have never thought of, is that herds
Of wandering bears might come with buns
And steal the bag to hold the crumbs.

No, I like the shine in sunshine. Would be too meteorological without it.

Lona Tue 17-Sept-13 09:54:36

It's so our poor, old arthritic fingers get as much exercise as possible wink

thatbags Tue 17-Sept-13 09:51:14

Agreed. I've always wondered why the cup bit was there. You could take the shine bit out of sunshine too and just have sun.
