So pleased. I was worried one of you ladeez had him all to herself.

I had a chat with Pete yesterday and he is fine he said that he was boarding the place up for a while but did say that like "a bad penny" he will turn up again.He did say however he never made any profit from the bar as everyone paid in IOU's

I don't like the thought of Lil's all shuttered up, windows blanked over etc. (Not that the windows were ever on view, so to speak, after all it was a members only club, and had a subtle façade)

Oh Pete where are you? Yes, I know that I said that football was crap etc, but you are missed!

I hope she did, Nelliemoser, and that's she's doing alright.

I miss Pete too.

I think Nellie has gone off the radar for the present time. I hope she comes back. Nellie if you're still out there, maybe having a wee lurk - come back? You are sorely missed .

I miss Pete and the banter bar as well. Used to cheer me up!

What happened to Nellie? I know she had one or two disappointments on the job hunting front but does anyone know why she disappeared?

I was a bit of a lurker, dipped my toe in now and again but I did like the thread and it's harmless fun. I am pleased to know that nothing un toward happened but equally hope Pete is O.K. as well, he was the heart of the thread after all IMHO.

POGS & Ariadne There was a new Banter Bar 2 started and the last posting was 22nd Sept by Pete I was one of the last to post on the thread and must admit I miss it but have been busy with other things over the last few weeks,maybe Pete has gone on one of his walkabouts or off supporting his Football Team he could even be locked in the cellar !!! I'll pm him and see if he is out and about.

Just had a search (wide awake at 3.18!!) and it reached its limit in July. No one started a new one. Wonder where Pete is?
