Those few lines in the box to the right of the threads. Just above "search forums". Does anyone ever look at them? Think they must be written by someone who doesn't keep up very well. grin

I look at them - they seem to draw my eye! But usually at least one of the threads has already gone off the page...

Other forums using this format have the same box. I haven't been able to find out how to disable it on mine. I'm not sure we can, I think the parent board who owns the programme like it there, as it also on many boards contains links to adverts, as does mine.

I don't want to disable it - I just think it's pretty pointless!

I would like to disable the one on mine! We have managed to move it to the very bottom of the page, though.

Just had a look and I never realised there's another search box there! Haven't tried it, but I hope it works better than the one at the top, on the same level as the 'log in' box.
Now that is useless!
