Just had a look and I never realised there's another search box there! Haven't tried it, but I hope it works better than the one at the top, on the same level as the 'log in' box.
Now that is useless!

I would like to disable the one on mine! We have managed to move it to the very bottom of the page, though.

I don't want to disable it - I just think it's pretty pointless!

Other forums using this format have the same box. I haven't been able to find out how to disable it on mine. I'm not sure we can, I think the parent board who owns the programme like it there, as it also on many boards contains links to adverts, as does mine.

I look at them - they seem to draw my eye! But usually at least one of the threads has already gone off the page...
