I have just opened the screen for the umpteenth time today.....and I am supposed to be working you know. And....my name keeps appearing as the latest contributor, blushlooks like I have either got too much time on my hands (not) or got an opinion on everything (most likely). My excuse is that I work mainly on my own, and Gransnet along with Radio 4 is the equivalent of my work buddies.

I cant get to the security bit, but its a new laptop so wouldnt show posts earlier than Mayish this year, then there is my phone and DH Ipad and his laptop, but from day one I think I would get a fright, so might be just as well grin

I am self employed, so one of the few advantages of working on my own is having Radio 4 on, and dipping into gransnet. I get a bit narked if the phone rings when I am in the middle of something interesting on the radio....and if anyone calls during The Archers......angry

I have put myself on strict rations, three times a day after meals. otherwise as a champion procrastinator, Gransnet was my first resource and could occupy me for hours when I should be doing more urgent things.

Hmmm...a mere 2,094 times for me - but I only joined in the middle of January.

I have a real problem with File on 4, Sunday afternoons. The theme music makes me feel depressed. Mr P manages to turn it off just in time, which isn't easy because they play it a little way into the programme, not right at the beginning. I struggle with Sundays anyway.

How extraordinary phoenix I too have a real problem with that theme tune ..... I feel panicky and a sense of doom and gloom. confused

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 06-Mar-14 12:43:14

Perhaps you need to be on a desktop 'puter. That's how I did it yesterday evening. Can't do it on Fire.

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 06-Mar-14 12:44:44

Gotta pop off to iPlayer to listen to that tune....

Riverwalk Thu 06-Mar-14 12:47:53

It has a sort of 'Ski Sunday' nostalgic 70s feel ....... that somehow makes me sad!

Anne58 Thu 06-Mar-14 12:55:03

River that's such a coincidence, but rather comforting! You do mean the sort of brass section music, don't you?
