Calling all gransnetters! Please fill in our census - there are some really fab prizes up for grabs...

Here at GNHQ, it's vital for us to build up a profile of all the splendid people who are using Gransnet to help us attract the most appropriate advertisers and sponsors as well as find out how everyone feels about the site. So we would very much like everyone - this means ALL gransnetters! (whether you've joined today, been here since day one, if you post on the site every day or are happy lurking, if you're overseas or even a man smile) - to complete our census. This is our second census survey and we'd love as many people as possible to fill it in.

As a special thank you, we've lined up some truly great prizes - worth in total over £1600! Everyone who takes part in the survey and adds their details at the end will be entered into a prize draw, in which you could win one of the following:

A 5 star self catering break in North Wales with Best of Wales
A Miele Scout RX1 robot vacuum cleaner worth £700
A collection of DVDs worth over £100
One of two selections of Cracker Drinks plus a picnic basket worth £45

For more details and T&Cs please click here.

Please do take the time to fill in this survey and tell us all about yourself and how you use Gransnet. Just so you know, there are 50+ (very interesting) questions.

All responses are confidential and no individual details will be passed on to any third parties. Here's the link again.

Thanks (and good luck).

Does anyone from gransnetters actually read these comments. Why cat we get onto the survey???

henetha Sun 03-Aug-14 10:03:56

I'm glad there are others who cannot get onto the survey. For a while I thought I was losing my marbles.
Can anybody help us?

boheminan Sat 02-Aug-14 22:44:13

'scuse me! I can't get onto this survey either….so, what am I (and hen doing wrong???)

henetha Sat 02-Aug-14 19:09:31

I couldn't find the bleeping census, clicked on the link and nothing happened.sad.

Done it. I'm hoping we won't now be bombarded with cr*p from sponsors wanting to market their stuff (eg. in response to the q. about whether we were buying a car anytime soon...) Re the q. about when old age starts, I find it's always around ten years older than I am at any given stage, so difficult to pin down really ;-)

Shame - cant seem to be able to get into the census - did try many times - does that count for a prize

JoJo58 Fri 25-Jul-14 22:32:10

Done, interesting survey.

JackyB Fri 25-Jul-14 11:44:26

Done it, but lots of sections didn't apply to me because (a) my first grandson is still only weeks old and (b) I don't live in the UK, so I had to skip everything about supermarkets, magazines, newspapers., etc.

bmteal Thu 24-Jul-14 18:12:57

Well i'm having a senior moment and i think i have done this survey. I now cannot remember.! I feel a bit silly.!

Hunt Thu 24-Jul-14 15:03:06

Do hope Gransnet reads all this ,there's probably more interesting info here than in the survey!

Rowantree Wed 23-Jul-14 16:07:40

Finished smile DS has one of those vacuum cleaners - I want one too envy

Bothiegran2013 Thu 10-Jul-14 18:41:58

Done it, but did not answer all the questions as some ask for too much personal data. There should be a box for 'Prefer not to answer' for all questions about personal and lifestyle. I feel we can often give away too much data which, in the wrong, hands could be used to trace us and/or compromise our security.

GrandmaH Thu 10-Jul-14 17:29:43

Done- I do hope we get feedback but rather doubt it. Not 100% sure what they will learn from this though. I NEVER fill in how more household income is. Nobody's business but ours.

cazthebookworm Thu 10-Jul-14 17:23:43

Just done it, back to making another loom band bracelet now, it is becoming rather addictive, but will keep me busy on the coach to Scotland tomorrow.
Hope the weather is good!!

numberplease Thu 10-Jul-14 16:38:21

Done it, took roughly half an hour.

rubysong Tue 08-Jul-14 22:42:46

I've also done it. (It saved me watching the Brazil/Germany world cup match and weeping about my dismal effort on the predictions thread!)

mrshat Tue 08-Jul-14 21:40:00

All done!
