I am still having problems.

I am using two tablets and both of them are sending me back to home page, I have to keep starting all over to go back to a thread or even get back onto GN full stop. This is now beyond frustrating as it happens sometimes within seconds. . One of the tablets keeps coming up with Web page not working too.

If I am on, say Cotton Traders site, no problem. If I am using Google, no problem. It is only when I use GN site.

As I have borrowed a friends tablet this would surely prove my tablet is not at fault. Any ideas clever GN's or HQ. Other than give up.

I have been having problems with GN too I use a tablet and laptop and I have several pages open at the same time but as soon as I launch GN on a page within a minute my tablet refuses to update and only when I turn it off and on again will it unfreeze as long as I don't go to GN everything works fine . OH says it sounds like some sort of bug to do with GN its why I haven't even posted I have been keeping off the site.

lt needs investigating for sure.

I am posting this from my laptop and things seem to be working ok but I also tried on my tablet and the usual problem as soon as I go to GN the tablet seems to freeze and nothing will update and clicking on anything just doesn't work..

Could it be your router?

Thanks for your post. I have only just returned to GN as I was so frustrated with it earlier on.

I log on by pressing the GN symbol my daughter loaded onto my opening screen. I also tried to log on via Google and blow me the same thing was happening.

I borrowed a friends tablet as I thought it might prove my tablet was the problem but it happened on both!

I could be reading a thread and all of a sudden I am cut off and back on my opening screen. I press the GN symbol and I can return to GN, loaded to where I was, or inevitably to GN where I have to go through the motion to get back to where I was because all the information has vanished.

On one computer when I pressed the GN symbol I kept GN in a totally different format for a while. Everything was on the left handside of the screen and words only words only in a column form, no pictures etc. Very weird. Very often it displays a problem with the Web connection but it doesn't send me back to the opening page, that just happens out of the blue.

I am so sorry I am scribing in a childish manner but I am not computer literate , I am sure some GN's are sitting back laughing but it's the best I can do.

I am going onto the other tablet.

Have you been doing something, besides eating cakes ????

Keeps coming up Web site down on the other tablet but now I am OK again.

No I'm not.

One came up with Web. Page not Available. The other suddenly went out of watching a thread and Gransnet terms of use came on the screen.

I will try for a bit longer but might give in again.

Any ideas, is it just me with so many problems. I have asked my neighbour who uses his computer a lot and he has had no issues and he uses BT same as me.

Have just come on again and it is slow, not behaving in a positive way when I press a link to get on a thread

I still can't access on my tablet although on my PC it seems okish but slow
