Still the same.

Did another full scan last night, no bugs registered.
Methinks it is something between GN and IE.

Well, yes, I tried clicking the cross, and my post registered, but it's just the same as clicking 'cancel'.

By the way, I never click on cancel in case it does the same as save.
I just click the cross to get rid of it.

No, the list on mine, after games continues with computer, control panel, devices and printers, default programmes, help and support - no recent items listed!

Oh well, I'll just have to hope for the best...

Ana If you are on a PC (or mine at any rate) click on the 'start' icon (a round thing with windows icon; on the righthand side a list should come up that says:

documents
pictures
music
games
recent items (with an arrow, click on the arrow and it shows your most recent saved items)
computer
etc

Ana, my elderly Windows Vista laptop shows recent items on the right hand list when you click on the windows symbol, bottom left. Later versions of Windows will probably be different. I have never noticed it before, all it showed were the last few photos I had stored.

Where do you look to find 'recent items'?

Yes, I did click 'cancel' shysal except for once when I pressed 'save' by mistake.

Several links to GN were in 'recent items'.

Just checked mine, no GN posts on 'recent items', thank goodness. I have always clicked 'cancel'

djen just had a look and EVERYTHING I have posted has copied on to my hard drive in 'recent items', even when I pressed 'cancel'

If I were you, I would do a virus scan now, just in case. Doom and gloom again, I know, but it's best to be safe.

I just pressed 'save' by mistake and now can't find the message on my pc, don't want it on there for other users to find! Help!

I posted using my tablet this morning and all was fine

Have just posted using my PC and got the same message - do you want to open or save this message?, then it posts when I press 'Active'

I use IE on both.
