I think you should take the public loos thread out of Discussions of the Day. It's not a healthy thread. Ok to talk about it, if you must, but it shouldn't be highlighted.

grin

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 19-Jun-15 21:41:44

YeS. They were nurturing the site. Can't blame them. (kerching!)

Ana Fri 19-Jun-15 21:39:24

GNHQ was quite strict in those days...

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 19-Jun-15 21:33:37

No! Swearing didn't come into it!

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 19-Jun-15 21:32:54

Yes. It was just after I had been barred for undermining the site. I criticised the advertisers. But Cari relented cos I wanted to say "get well soon" to soop.

I could make a book about my time on here.

Ana Fri 19-Jun-15 21:30:34

Well, it was just jinglebellrocks at first, wasn't it? (I don't mean the first one ever!) Must have been Christmas-inspired...

merlotgran Fri 19-Jun-15 21:29:34

I thought you meant to call yourself jinglbellsrocks but somehow put one of your effs in it grin

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 19-Jun-15 21:26:26

Whoops! There's a new one there.

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 19-Jun-15 21:25:39

I was thinking about this in bed a few nights back. Psychic or what?! shock

I mean, how I got stuck with a moniker like inglbellsfrocks. confused

merlotgran Fri 19-Jun-15 21:08:15

I call 'er jingl coz she doesn't like jingle wink

Ariadne Fri 19-Jun-15 21:00:59

I still haven't moved on fromjings which is an abbreviation from several incarnations ago! smile

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 19-Jun-15 20:15:00

No! I like being difficult.

petallus Fri 19-Jun-15 20:08:42

Ana I noticed that and it was the first time I've seen one from someone else.

Keep up the good work jinglbellsfrocks

By the way, I'm awarding you a prize for the most difficult GN screen name. What would be an acceptable shorter version? smile

Ana Fri 19-Jun-15 19:27:45

I know what it means, it just doesn't seem appropriate for a shade of lipstick!

It's more usually applied to a person (the go-to woman for a certain job) or something like a tried and tested remedy for a chesty cough...grin

loopylou Fri 19-Jun-15 19:04:29

I've far too many lipsticks lurking in drawers that were go to when I bought them, but not since!

Katek Fri 19-Jun-15 19:01:58

I think it's the tried and tested one that you go to

loopylou Fri 19-Jun-15 18:57:11

Weird.......'go to' what?

Ana Fri 19-Jun-15 18:51:46

And what's a 'go-to' shade of lipstick? hmm

What an odd phrase to use...

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 19-Jun-15 18:50:01

Yeah, well. They haven't done anything yet. hmm Ridiculous thread to put in Dotd. hmm

Ana Fri 19-Jun-15 18:35:58

Although to be fair, someone other than jingl did address a thread to GNHQ earlier this week...wink

petallus Fri 19-Jun-15 18:28:52

Yes, the OP. I image 'dear GNHQ' quaking a little when they see another one coming through.

Ana Fri 19-Jun-15 17:47:54

The OP probably! grin

loopylou Fri 19-Jun-15 17:40:24

Moi? confused

ninathenana Fri 19-Jun-15 17:38:18

Sorry petallus, who was that post directed at ?

petallus Fri 19-Jun-15 17:36:11

I knew that would be you grin
