Why do they think our posts on here are so all-important to us that they have to contact us before deleting one, to give us a chance to "withdraw the post" of our own volition. confused It's a website. On the Internet. It's not holy.

And while I'm on the subject, I'm 73 FGS! I do not appreciate young whippersnappers, even if they do call themselves 'GNHQ' talking down to me as if I am a naughty schoolgirl. hmm

Oh sorry I was unaware that there was a rule about not posting about other threads on a thread. This makes things even more complicated-and even more "big brother", Sometimes I think things are connected, this was one. apologies to jbf if she thinks I hi-jacked her thread. But I do think GNHQ are a bit unpredictable!

It was on the Discussions of the Day list when I posted, thatbags. GNHQ had called it 'Babysitting' but the actual thread was 'Advice Needed' about GPs losing a GC on an outing.
