Why do they think our posts on here are so all-important to us that they have to contact us before deleting one, to give us a chance to "withdraw the post" of our own volition. 
It's a website. On the Internet. It's not holy.
And while I'm on the subject, I'm 73 FGS! I do not appreciate young whippersnappers, even if they do call themselves 'GNHQ' talking down to me as if I am a naughty schoolgirl.

Apologies for confusing people. (but it's nice to be wanted )
jingl - you know that many of your posts are provocative, and I am sure it is entirely deliberate. Many of us have no problem with that bit of spice in the mix. I am sure that you are fully aware of the possible backlash. If you give it out, then you have to be prepared to get a reaction, as presumably it has this time - although I have not the faintest clue of the detail of this incident. I have a feeling that you would be bitterly disappointed if no-one ever rose to your bait! Just take it on the chin, or confine yourself to bland contributions!
