Pound signs and others

Why do I get a question mark when I type a pound sign ? It's not just me, someone else had trouble on a thread I was reading. It's happening with other symbols and letters with an accent over.

Hello! Update on this. It's been fixed but we need to do a release so it'll show on the site. We'll be doing that this morning (so if the site is unresponsive for a minute or two that's why).
