So they went down at the same time as the hack. Tech didnt know why, but it wasnt because of the hack.

Well it's exactly what I guessed was the reason weeks and weeks ago! And I remember you saying, jings something like 'yes, you're very probably right'.

They even "mailed" one of their posters because she wasn't up to date about it all. But we just get, "Tech's busy".

HQ have told MN that they turned the profiles off because of the hacking incident. Why couldn't they have told us that?

HQ have said several times that they're working on it, and like Luckygirl I'm sure it will be sorted in due course so I fail to understand why all the grief.

Life ain't perfect - I am sure it will all be sorted soon, and they are doing their best. I am not sure what it is that HQ is supposed not to have told us. The hacking problem was general knowledge so nothing to tell. At some point no doubt we will have a similar message here about reinstating the profiles. I guess they will have started with the larger of the two sites.

Having dipped into the "other side" a few times over the last few days, my definition of "insulting" has changed. Believe me, we ain't seen nothing on here! There are lots of angry pottymouths over there!

Profiles really don't bother me but we should have been told.
