Just spent a few minutes updating mine!!

I was never fussed personally.

Its been so long I can't remember how to get to my profile???? help!

tanith, go to My Gransnet at bottom of page, on desktop site anyway.

I am still unable to enter how many GCs I have!

You have to enter GC on My Grandchildren page and then select Show Number on the profile page.

I have tried that, but if I select 'show number' it just drops down the menu.

thanks shysal , the page for entering grandchildren has changed completely and is much clearer and easier to add things, I just added my first GGS it was much easier than before..
Yours sounds like the old page shysal I don't know why that could be.

I now propose we have a members union, oaps.co.uk, where we can ask, beg , nay crawl for us not to be taken for granted, and beg on humbled knee that we have received a 'free' gift.

Apart from that I do look in, and sometimes participate.

So to show the number of GC you have, you have to register them (names, gender, date of birth) and they'll send "regular emails on your grandchildren's development". All this just so the number of GC you have shows up in your profile .
I've never really understood this 'developmental email' thing. How can GN know anything about my GC's development? Do they really mean that they'll send emails indicating the developmental stages I can expect my GC to have reached at any given age? Because if so, that's not the same thing

So jollyg all this begging and pleading for profiles to be reinstated is just so you can have a jolly good nose?

How embarrasing - just noticed both my previous posts start with 'so'

I registered my GC when I joined and have never received the "developmental email", so dont let that bit put you off.

I dont nose just look, and assess, an insight on other folks lives as people do when our lights are on and folk look into the house .

If people blatently look into our house when the lights are on, I rush to the door and ask them if they'd like to come in and have a proper look round. Well, at least, that's what I try to do. The reality is that by the time I've unlocked the door and stuck my head outside they're out of earshot
Of course, I try not to be caught doing never do this
