...give us a Fuckit Bucket forum, would you?

Somewhere we could just dump little troubles and annoyances, and feel better for the off-loading?

Go on! I dare you! Put a bit of life into this place smile

Couldn't we just start a fuckit bucket thread? I'd have plenty to add

Indinana Tue 01-Mar-16 20:57:28

You're lucky Jalima. Mine hasn't apologised because he never accepts he's in the wrong. Of course he is, because I couldn't possibly be grin

Mind you, I'm softening, because he has just given me an Easter egg (he can't resist buying them when they're stupidly cheap, which they were a couple of weeks ago)

Jalima Tue 01-Mar-16 20:44:16

Hope there was room for mine too Indinana.
Luckily he managed to redeem himself (after a bollocking grin).

Indinana Tue 01-Mar-16 20:40:19

I seriously wanted to stuff my DH into a fuckit bucket earlier. And I reckon my DD would have helped me to push him right in angry grin

merlotgran Tue 01-Mar-16 17:38:12

I could fill a Fuckit Bucket by 8.30 on a Wednesday morning.

It's DH's fishing day and it's worse than getting a kid off on a school trip.

Got to be Fuckit Bucket. Only just discovered it yesterday and it tickled me! Now, for starters I will put cleaning windows in it. My mum used to do hers every two weeks. My windows probably get done (inside ) about 4 times a year. Window cleaner does the outside so I can see through them! Every time I think about cleaning them - and don't - I can think - put it in the Fuckit Bucket! Maybe this is a room 101 thing too?

Please!!! I have a very very very long list at the moment

Jalima Mon 29-Feb-16 20:01:55

glassortwo Mon 29-Feb-16 19:56:11

Sorry but it has to be Fuckit Bucket the other suggestions just dont come close grin

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 29-Feb-16 19:34:24

Doesn't quite conjure up a very edifying picture though, does it? grin

Jalima Mon 29-Feb-16 14:58:14

Load of Old Bollocks Bucket?

Or would that frighten any grandads away? hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 29-Feb-16 14:14:09

If we got this, we definitely wouldn't tell them over at the Other Place. (Mumsnet (for newbies)) We wouldn't want them copying. It would be all ours only.

grannylyn65 Mon 29-Feb-16 14:09:39

Agree

Indinana Mon 29-Feb-16 12:43:21

I think it's perfect. It is surely no longer shocking and only mildly offensive imho. It perfectly expresses how one feels when something seriously goes up the spout. And yes, it rhymes smile

Ana Mon 29-Feb-16 12:38:43

In this particular case I think it is witty. It rhymes, for one thing.

A 'Dammit Bucket' just sounds...lame!

Synonymous Mon 29-Feb-16 12:27:51

Why should it have to be 'that' F word again? It is so boringly predictable Whilst it was used to shock in the past now it is just boringly predictable and not witty, original or funny. hmm

With all the life experience in GN we can do better than 'that' surely!

daffydil Mon 29-Feb-16 11:53:56

Damn is far too twee, it is what you say when you have mislaid your glasses.
Bugger and sod mean you can't quite bring yourself to use the f word.
It has to be Fuckit Bucket.

Lona Mon 29-Feb-16 11:03:51

Fuckit Bucket sounds just about right to me! grin

Nelliemoser Mon 29-Feb-16 10:20:28

A Damn it bucket ?
Bugger it bucket. ?
Sod it bucket ?
Come on grans more suggestions needed.

Indinana Mon 29-Feb-16 10:12:22

Oops, forget the full stop after 'jings' blush

Indinana Mon 29-Feb-16 10:11:42

Totes agree jings Let's get dahn wiv the kids, innit.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 29-Feb-16 10:06:43

POGS grin

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 29-Feb-16 10:05:23

No! Any other name would spoil the fun of it! It needs to be light-hearted as much as anything.

And a swearie modern sounding name would show the world we're not dead stuck in the past. smile

POGS Mon 29-Feb-16 10:01:28

Why would somebody be upset to read the word ' bucket '?

You do realise you stand the risk of being nick named Hyacynth from now on Cari. grin

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Mon 29-Feb-16 09:50:54

Well we are always happy to consider suggestions...I do wonder whether finding a slightly different name might broaden the appeal? grin
