Oh yes the weather has been absolutely beautiful , it really has been the most lovely autumn. Today though we had a couple of hours fine rain but sun all afternoon. Come and enjoy it!

As for your sister, I don't know what to suggest if she wants to eat cake and chocolate, can't move now and her husband perhaps likes having her dependent on him. You would think having new hips would inspire her to try to walk, although I have a friend who has put on a lot of weight after a hip operation

Ha ha Galen! Probably going off oat a tangent but it struck me when I was with sister in the department store how immoral it all is...... expensive perfume, very overpriced raincoat and handbags. Is it just because I have been poor in the past? Well, maybe I've still got sense of what we need to pay for our needs and what is just stupidity to pay. Even if I won the lottery, after I'd bought what I wanted (at a reasonable price) I'd rather give the remainder of the money to desperate people. And I'm no saint, believe me!

I do hope Jing comes back, I don't always agree with her, but she does liven things up. I like to liven some threads up (not political or religious ones anymore) but I need something to feed off of. I don't have the knowledge or vocabulary to originate threads like Jings.

Cari any chance you could look at this again please, its not the same without jingle she just says it like it is and unfortunately there are a few on here who are trigger happy, why cant they voice their feeling here instead of running to GNHQ?
