Trouble posting

I can't make paste work either.
My experience seems to be if I write a short sentence it is likely to post. I tried to post on Galen's US election thread - failed failed failed, until I did a very brief post, that was successful.
It's very tedious!

Select all/Copy/Delete/Paste,

Really Gransnet, it's a wonder anyone is still posting - it's such PAIN.

I'm having the same problem, mainly when using my Samson tablet.

Problems for me again this morning, is it you or us?

This is driving me mad! I don't post often, but three times posts have not gone!
now using laptop, not as convenient as i Pad.

I'm having the same issues I've been having for a while when on the Kindle. I press post, the screen greys out as if it's frozen, I panic that I've lost the post, but if I leave GN and come back in the post is there. I use the desktop site even when on my Kindle, if that's significant (I just prefer the layout). # stickinthemud

I have this problem. I copy what I have written then start again and paste. It always works second time. I thought it was just my ancient iPad playing up!

What's just happened to the twenty questions thread??? Why has it been closed???

My problem is that I keep forgetting that the posting thingy is not working and I keep finding interesting threads, I say my piece with great enthusiasm then the penny drops when I click on post message and my post fades to oblivion yet AGAIN.

During this saga I've been lucky not to have been one of those with posting problems.
However ! Over the last week I have had trouble when clicking on a thread title on the active page of being thrown off site rather than going to the chosen page I get straight back in the door but it's frustrating.
It happens on my android phone and my Kindle.
