Oh, fab news! Thanks for letting me know.

Charleygirl Fri 13-Oct-17 09:58:40

LauraGN, whatever technical issue was at fault, everything appears to be okay today. The same person could not PM me but thankfully it appears to be back to normal, thank you.

LauraGransnet (GNHQ) Fri 13-Oct-17 09:41:38

Local forums are finally working as they should <hooray!>

Charleygirl, could you send us a bit more info via email ([email protected])?

Charleygirl Thu 12-Oct-17 16:06:52

Hello LauraGN- I wanted to PM somebody on my local site but I could no longer do that. I did not have her on line name or her private email so I had to leave it.

This hasn't affected me but, reading the thread, it's appalling how long it's taken to fix this as techies were "snowed under".

As suggested, maybe you need new techies if there are so many problems with the site.

Also appalling that there was so little info for those who were affected.

Pittcity Thu 12-Oct-17 14:18:34

It's back! Hooray.?

LauraGransnet (GNHQ) Tue 10-Oct-17 12:22:59

Hoping so seacliff! Sorry we've not been able to give any more updates. I know tech are stretched at the moment, which seems to be the reason why this fix is taking so long.

seacliff Mon 09-Oct-17 20:13:09

GNHQ. Do you think it will be fixed this month?

sunseeker Sat 07-Oct-17 11:59:26

Sorry that should have said "back from a week away!" Well I didn't get in until early hours this morning!!!!

sunseeker Sat 07-Oct-17 11:58:48

Just got back from a week ago and amazed this is still not working.

seacliff Wed 04-Oct-17 21:11:02

Cannot believe this has still not been fixed!!

LauraGransnet (GNHQ) Fri 29-Sep-17 09:52:23

Hi all - finally an update for you. So sorry about this. Tech have been snowed under, so it's taken longer than anticipated, but they've found a fix for the local issues and are planning to release it as soon as possible (although they did say next week now). Keeping fingers crossed all goes to plan.

callgirl1 Tue 26-Sep-17 22:06:20

No, it`s all of them, I thnk. At least, I`ve tried Lincolnshire and Rochdale, they`re affected.

seacliff Tue 26-Sep-17 21:30:00

Perhaps we could transfer our local Suffolk thread to here Bluebelle. Are we the only local thread affected?
.

BlueBelle Tue 26-Sep-17 20:07:12

LauraGransnet (GNHQ) Fri 22-Sep-17 15:46:58

Yes, good point and we do try to <honest>. Please bear with us on this, but, again, aiming to get it sorted asap.

ninathenana Fri 22-Sep-17 14:35:38

Good point Bluebelle

seacliff Fri 22-Sep-17 14:33:14

Well it's still not working??

BlueBelle Fri 22-Sep-17 09:40:15

Thank you Laura could not an official post be put up when something quite major happens save time and patience thinking it's our own doing and keep trying unsucessfully
Glad to know it's getting sorted

LauraGransnet (GNHQ) Fri 22-Sep-17 09:32:48

Hi all - as Pittcity has kindly said, tech are on the case. Hope to have this fixed for you today.

seacliff Fri 22-Sep-17 09:11:08

I can't get on local suffolk site either BlueBelle.

ninathenana Fri 22-Sep-17 09:08:03

No help to you I know, sorry but I just checked out the Kent local out of curiosity and that's fine.
