Threads can go *pouf*and not end up on google!!

Posters on Mumsnet at present have the option of 90 day threads (soon to be removed) and 30 day threads.

According to MN HQ
threads after this time will in 'their words' go pouf disappear and Not end up on Google!

HQ can you please explain why GN does not have a 30/90day thread option?

HQ are aware of GNers concerns regarding posts on Google.

This is not something we have trialled on Gransnet before, but it is certainly something we can look into.

Will you be looking into it as part if your GN improvements?

I don't understand why it was not suggested by HQ when so many GNers had the concerns over posts ending up on google.

I will keep at look put for a 30/90 day GN posts that can go pouf at the end of that periodsmile

Just to update you on this request. It's something we are looking into - it's not something that will happen in the short term, but will absolutely remain under consideration.
