Deleted PMs - This is important

Anyone heard from GNHQ yet? I've contacted themail twice and had no response yet.

Jalima those nice emails you sent me last night have all been deleted! Shame. I wanted to save them.

It doesn't work like emails then.

I just deleted a lot of messages in my sent box GG13 - I didn't mean to delete them all but got over-enthusiastic!

I don't know why, Chewbacca, I haven't blocked anyone. It's all very peculiar.

Jalima I have just checked my inbox and your messages to me Nov/Dec are showing "deleted and senders request"???

Just checked inbox again and I can see your message Jalima but it won't allow me to send you any reply. GNHQ what's going on?

Me neither.

Sometimes when I pressed 'send' I got a box with an encrypted message in it, then the message would go the second time I pressed send.
Sometimes I got the same message two or three times in a row from a sender.

And to the person that sent me the pm 12 minutes ago..... I can no longer read it because it says "message deleted at user request". Please don't think I'm ignoring you or have deliberately deleted your pm. It's just not accessible to me any more.

I had two deleted from OldBatty too, end of November, it does seem to particularly affect her, though others too?

I had approximately 10 PMs deleted all from the same person back in September/October 2018. All these had the same message "deleted at senders request".

As a relatively newbie, I thought I had inadvertently upset this person.

It seems to have gone back to at least to June 2018 - you can tell that I don't empty my in or sent boxes very frequently.

Thank you for bringing it to our attention MawBroon, it is very worrying.

I queried with HQ when I first had this, as whilst I accept someone may wish to delete their message, I think it is unacceptable that your message can be deleted. They said that was the procedure.
Also as someone has mentioned, often with pm’s you may give more personal info such as a private email address, I had expected that this was indeed private, but if someone can randomly delete ‘your’ message, then obviously access to these pm’s are not private at all. Watching this thread with interest!

Just checked mine. I don’t get many (billy no mates!) but all there apart from a couple which had been sent from old batty ages ago.

Somehow I feel rejected. Also I can’t remember what you said in them now!

I've had two of my sent messages deleted "at user's request". Both to the same person. The three messages from her - part of the same conversation - are still there, so I seriously doubt she was clearing her mailboxes.

The deleted sent messages were dated 31 Oct - Halloween . Ghoulies and ghosties and long leggedy beasties perhaps?

I can't check mine, because a huge advert for border healthcare is in the way.

Maw as an experiment I will go and delete your messages, and see if you get the deleted at users request back?

I haven't had any messages deleted but have had duplicates from some people.

I often get duplicated messages from different people. I just delete the duplicate.
