Privacy pop up

I get it every time I move, post,read a thread, leave a thread and a million times in between. It’s rubbish .

Its not happening bar the once at logon in Edge, Chrome, Firefox just in Safari :-( and it happens every page turn, every attempt to post ……… hurry up and fix it please . Its a pain !!

Started for me yesterday. Maybe GN could email us all once it’s been fixed? I’m a Safari user on IOS 12.2

It’s only just started doing it to me today. Crazy ... if it goes on Inshant be able to use gransnet

Yay! Seems to be fixed now. Phew!!

The same problem was on mumsnet but that has suddenly resolved itself. However, it continues on Gransnet. It is very annoying. I will now post this - which will issue another privacy/acceptance request. Mumsnet said they were working on it so was hoping both sites would be fixed.

You aren’t going to fix it then?

Has any headway been made on sorting this problem? As well as that blessed privacy pop up, the whole site seems very sluggish now. At this tome on a Friday are there going to be any techies around to fix the problem? If not, probably not worth trying to access the site till the gremlins have gone.

It wasn’t happening to me but now it’s happening every time I turn a page on a thread, open a new thread or go to post !! I’m on my iPad currently using Safari but I shall try it on Edge , Chrome and Firefox when I fire up the laptop.

I totally agree gillybob. If this isn't resolved soon I think GN is going to lose a lot of members.

Thankfully I don't have any problems if I use Google Chrome, so I'm sticking with that for the foreseeable, because Safari is a complete no no at the moment.

I agree annie it’s rubbish . I can’t move from a thread, move down a thread, post or do anything at all without it popping up 3,4,5 times ?

Well I have to say I am reaching the point of giving up . This is absolute crap . I am getting a ridiculous privacy pop up every time I open, click on, read or leave anything. Just counted 17 pop ups in less than 3 minutes ! How stupid is that ?

AAAGGGHHH! It had stopped and was OK for a couple of days, but now it's just started all over again. Every page. Every post. Every damn click. (Safari on an iMac)

I have to log in every time despite clicking the keep me logged in button and the annoying privacy pop up is driving me mad. It only happens on my iPad with Safari. Any chance of getting it sorted?
No problems at all with my phone.
