Always bashing certain members of the royal family and going on as if only their views can be the correct ones.

The ones who think they can own other human beings.

The ones who expect a person, just because they happen to be royal, to have no entitlement to any normal human feelings.

I wonder how perfect they are in their own lives.

I also wonder how they get their mountains of inside knowledge of the royal family, and how they can be sure of its accuracy.

hmm

Well thats alright then Gonegirl, its what you think. But I believe Harry and Megan are now taking the piss and are a waste of time. My opinion.

Anniebach Sun 20-Oct-19 08:49:47

I abhor violence but I always wanted to thump a Pollyanna who use to greet me when we met on freezing cold, dreary winter mornings with ‘good morning, isn’t it a lovely crisp morning ‘ .’ No it’s cold, miserable and I hate it’

annsixty Sun 20-Oct-19 09:16:53

I also thing some GNersre becoming snipey.
A member starts a thread and instead of answering the question of making a point about the subject they criticize the poster ,as in the thread about a tv ad.

merlotgran Sun 20-Oct-19 09:20:36

Off to find the thread about the TV ad. grin

Iam64 Sun 20-Oct-19 09:22:33

Good Morning Gonegirl - sunshine

Nico97 Sun 20-Oct-19 09:24:03

I agree annsixty and like merlotgran I'm off to find the TV ad thread grin

Anniebach Sun 20-Oct-19 09:26:15

Gonegirl Sun 20-Oct-19 09:27:22

Gonegirl Sun 20-Oct-19 09:28:40

Jane10 Sun 20-Oct-19 09:34:52

Ooh what TV ad thread?

merlotgran Sun 20-Oct-19 09:40:23

I found it in 'Last Day'

Have I got the right one because I couldn't see any sniping?

#disappointed

LullyDully Sun 20-Oct-19 12:39:14

Some us are optimistic and some are pessimistic in my experience. Such is life. We all need to have our say in life.

Fennel Sun 20-Oct-19 12:55:02

I agree LullyDully. I'm a Pollyanna and that's it. I went out this am in the drizzle and it freshened me up - can't stand central heating.

annsixty Sun 20-Oct-19 13:05:21

One post has disappeared I have checked again, it was " we never watch tv whilst we eat" and "tv doesnt go on until later."
Gentle I know but not answering the OP and perhaps criticising life style.
Or maybe I was "a bit offside" yesterday.
It happens to me sometimes now.

Callistemon Mon 21-Oct-19 20:52:07

Otherwise it would be a hard g as in Gone^g^irl, Gonegirl!

We would all be whinging it
Sorry, winging it.

No it’s cold, miserable and I hate it
Annie;
"Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces up, snow is exhilarating; there is no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather!"
The author must have been a born optimist, but probably not living in mid-Wales grin

SirChenjin Tue 22-Oct-19 09:22:21

And probably not stuck overnight in his car in the snow and wondering how the hell he’s going to get home to kids!

Anniebach Tue 22-Oct-19 09:22:56

Move to Mid Wales Rufas then tell me when there is snow,
milk can’t be delivered, Tesco can’t deliver you grocery order
because they can’t get over the mountains, the town is cut off,
tell me then ‘it’s exhilarating ‘, ? I hate snow.

As for rain being refreshing ? You have never been to Mid Wales ?

Callistemon Tue 22-Oct-19 09:30:53

Rufus I've heard recently that there is no such thing as bad weather, only 'the wrong clothes^!

That was from someone who had visited your city grin and was "freezing cold" the whole time.

She had obviously never visited mid-Wales, Annie

EllanVannin Tue 22-Oct-19 09:36:05

What about all these " perfect " DH's ?

I wrote a little poem for/about my late H :

He lay beneath the stars.
He basked beneath the sun.
He lived a life of " going to do ".
And died with nothing done .

I told him I was going to have it engraved on his headstone. We did use to laugh about it.

Pantglas2 Tue 22-Oct-19 09:40:10

Must admit Anniebach I can cope with crisp and frosty and snow and gale force wind, but rain makes me miserable!

lemongrove Tue 22-Oct-19 09:41:32

That’s so good Ellan.....you can be the next Poet Laureate!?

Anniebach Tue 22-Oct-19 10:11:32

Pantglas I really hate snow, to such an extent I will not wear
white, have white linen in my house, white makes me think of snow, how pathetic is that ?

SirChenjin Tue 22-Oct-19 11:36:54

Nope, not pathetic at all Annie - I hate it with an absolute passion. I work in the middle of nowhere and dread the commute to and from work - I’ve been snowed in there once and stuck in my car for hours on the road. Neither were experiences I’d like to repeat. I don’t mind driving on roads that are cleared but with all our council cutbacks road gritting is becoming increasingly limited.

Anniebach Tue 22-Oct-19 11:41:02

So I am not alone SirChenjin it’s foul stuff and it smells
