Oopsminty how do you survive if you don't eat?

We don't have elaborate meals but I do enjoy dinner!
Tonight was chicken with garlic butter, wrapped in bacon, jacket spuds and veg.

Sigh! Mine has hobbies. I would prefer the cooking.

Gonegirl he is retired without any hobbies I have to put him to good use, sitting reading all day is not healthy!!!

I am having an organic Pinot Grigio, Mr Gravy is cooking dinner (Venison (first meat for me since Sunday) dauphinois potatoes, fine green beans and courgettes)

If we start getting so easily offended by 'rude' remarks it just kills off any useful discussion. Do we want threads where everyone agrees with the OP? How boring! No wonder there are silly question posts in an attempt to keep things moving.

I am about to pop a vitamin pill. Had a Waitrose steak pie for my dinner, gave DH veg and potatos with his, but I just had the pie.

I've just had another look at the gut and pills thread; possibly it became rather 'lively' and you and I (and others) could be guilty of using the sm*g word more than once, so I'm not sure if that could be considered equally offensive.

I would think Let it Go, Let it Go ....

I expect this will be deleted soon as a thread about a thread anyway.

If you report the offending post, grapefruitpip, then HQ can decide whether it's a personal attack and whether or not it should be deleted.

I was thinking of the more informal meaning of ignorant ie discourteous or rude. This is one of the problems of the English language :the same word can have several meanings and on GN it is not always clear what a poster is saying.
